10 December 2008 - At the Prompt Payment Summit, chaired by Secretary of State for Business Peter Mandelson, ICM Director General Philip King launched the Prompt Payment Code, commissioned from the ICM by the Government. 11 November 2008 - At the inaugural Small Business Finance Forum, which was chaired by Secretary of State for Business Peter Mandelson, ICM Director General Philip King was invited to take part in the official launch of the series of ten 'Managing Cashflow' guides, an initiative commissioned from the ICM by government as part of a package of help for small businesses. October 2008 - The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) has recently commissioned the ICM to produce a number of key guides to help small businesses in these difficult times. October 2008 -The ICM has recently taken Gold in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide awards for a variety of initiatives aimed at putting the Institute at the top of the business agenda.
